Chris Allers
 
Chris Allers is a doctoral candidate and sessional instructor at the Institute for Christian Studies, Adjunct Professor of Philosophy and English at Cornerstone University (Grand Rapids, MI), and Interaction & Experience Designer, Researcher, and General Manager at YETi CGI, a design and development studio focused on the intersection of technology, games, and education. Chris' research interests include the psychology of motivation and influence, innovation and creativity, philosophy of religion, ethics, and forgiveness. Chris is currently writing his dissertation on forgiveness, which is tentatively titled The Banality of Forgiveness: An Arendtian Critique of Hannah Arendt. Additionally, he is the co-editor of Forgiveness in Perspective (published by Rodopi, 2010) and has designed interactive experiences for clients including National Geographic, Nickelodeon, and Mattel.
